MENU "TOP" LISTS Look below for hints on how to do this without loosing your visitors. The "Top 10 Nursing Sites" hosted by allnurses is by far the largest and most visited nursing "popular" list on the net. Though they say it is updated daily and the counters are reset monthly, this is not actually the case. None-the-less, joining this list will drive additional traffic to your site. No banners, no site descriptions and you will not be able to edit your account. Click on the logo to join. The "Top 100 Nursing Sites" hosted by Nurse-Recruiter.com. This is a no gimmicks "popular" listing. The more votes a site gets, the higher on the list it appears. Counters are automatically updated every half-hour and are reset to zero every Monday. This allows everyone a chance to get a top listing. The 20 sites get a banner display and all sites get a description of their web presence. Click the link to the left to join. Once you've joined, you can choose any of three graphics or a text link to start getting votes for your site. Student Nurses Top  Site Top Student Nurses Site.  The list updates regularly but does not reset the counters.  Makes it hard for new comers to get to the top, but will still drive great traffic to your site. AboutNursing.Net Nursing Top 50 Site This top site is new from "AboutNursing.net". In addition to their top lists, they also have a new search engine. So sign-up for both to get the best exposure. They also let you interact with your visitors by allowing independent review of your site. The "Top 50 LTC Sites", if your site has information that pertains to the LTC industry, we recommend this list to you. Your site will be visible and the list is certainly going to grow. The counter is updated every 30 minutes and all counters are reset to zero weekly. Again, this allows everyone a chance for top listing. All sites get a full description of their web presence. The site is hosted by the LTC Case Mix Advisor. HealthStrip "Top Care Sites".  Brand new with very few members. We haven't yet figured out how often the counter is reset to zero, however it is updated on a regular basis. This list is hosted by HealthStrip A Health Care Mall. Top Health Sites is brand new so we don't know yet how often the will update, etc. We will post that information in a week or two, but in the meantime, get your site listed. The counter is automatically updated every hour, they allow only one vote per user per day. The counter is periodically reset to zero, however, they don't tell you when. The biggest draw back here is they expect you to host a full size banner vs. a button.
TOP LIST HINT It's hard enough to get a visitor to your site, and once they're there, you don't want to loose them. Here's a way you can join these top sites, enjoy the extra traffic they can drive to you, display the logo to get votes and not loose your visitor. It's all in the HTML code.
